 issance Dallas Richardson Hotel.\n\nThis year’s gala celebrates 17 years
  of the DFW Chapter’s efforts to combat childhood hunger and promote edu
 cation for schoolchildren in India. The evening will bring together commun
 ity members\, supporters and distinguished leaders who share the mission o
 f ensuring that hunger does not prevent a child from attending school.\n\n
 Guests can look forward to dinner\, entertainment\, meaningful conversatio
 ns and a presentation highlighting the impact made possible by the communi
 ty’s support.\n\nThe featured keynote speakers are Tejal Rao\, chief res
 taurant critic for The New York Times and contributor to The New York Time
 s Magazine\, and Ananya Prasad\, the first woman of color to row solo acro
 ss the Atlantic Ocean.\n\nThe Akshaya Patra school meal program serves mor
 e than 2.35 million children across over 24\,000 schools every school day.
  A contribution of just $20 can help provide one child with school lunches
  for an entire academic year.\n\nRegistration and sponsorship information
